I choose this college because I heard about the good reputation of the college as it is one of the oldest colleges affiliated within the university of Delhi. For the admission process I first had to appear in the CUET entrance exam in which I scored 560 out of 800. The cut off was decided on the basis of subject required for the course as for my course, BA program ( economics + history ) , I had to appear for general test, English, maths and economics. The preparation for the CUET was done through the NCERT 12 books as the syllabus for the exam was the same as that of the boards. After appearing for the CUET exam I had to submit my marksheet to CSAS portal of university of Delhi and register as an applicant. Then there are different rounds of seat allocation in which I was allocated my seat at PGDAV evening college
I had choosen this course because I aspire to become an IAS officer and this course has been a steeping stone in my preperation as economics and history both the subjects have huge importance in the UPSC exam. The faculty here is also very knowledgeable and experienced which helps us to get a better understanding of the subjects and concepts taught. The examination pattern is very simple as only end sems are taken at the end of each semester while internal marks are given by the teacher on various aspects such as attendance, attentiveness and assignments
Per year we have to pay 14400 as our annual fees, and for every semester’s exams we have to pay additional examination fees to the university which varies for each subject chosen by the student. It may me between the range of 1200-1700
The college has various societies with different interests such as photography, theatre, social causes, art and culture, etc. these societies provide all round development opportunities to the students. Fest I also conducted in the month of march. The college also has a fully facilitated Library which has many books and journals.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in .
