the factor made me choose this college were, i can travel to the campus by public transportation, the campus is set in greenery, the classrooms are projected, labs are high-tech, canteens are in the campus only, every stream has their ow workshop. the admission process is easy just submit the documents which are required for admission process. the cut-off you need to get the admission is above 35% and you can also get admission after 10th and if you have passed out 12th then you can apply for direct second year diploma also.
the course i choose is electrical engineering because the future of electrical engineering market has started booming through various sectors, industries and companies. Qualification of the faculty are like Phd/masters in electrical engineering subjects, the teaching method is understandable if you don't understand anything they will teach you again the faculty takes good care of you and your academics. see the there are six semester in diploma and the course is of 3 years means two sems per year. the difficulty i faced for was sixth sem of 3rd year. exams are conducted after every six months in summer and winter.
i didnt opted for any internship because my plans were different and i was practicing for degree so i have not opted for any internship... so guys im sorry i cant help with this question... but my friends were happy with their placements and their package.
Placements placed in the college are quite good, the company visit the campus are Mahindra, Infosys, tata, Bajaj, Cummins, capgemini etc... the highest package offered was 56lc per year and the avg package offered was 1lc per year. the eligibility to go for placement is clear your all subjects you should not have any backlog subject.
The yearly fees to study diploma was 57,000/- which includes tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, development fees, lab fees, after applying for "Rajashree shahu maharaj scholarship" the fee i was paying was 30,000/- per year. now the thing is i was from open caste so i had to pay 30k, other caste like "SC, NTC, OBC" have different fee base for scholarship.
Life at campus is good, there are so many fest held each year, like in feb the campus celebrates all the days, then Ganpati festival is celebrated in very traditional way, the annual function of the college is very grand. the college library is so big and vast and in whole campus there are two libraries. each library holds the capacity of 3000 books. There is every sport held in the college on sports day like football, kabaddi, cricket, basketball, volleyball.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
