The things which I considered before choosing this college were It is one of the few courses in India which teaches BMS and BFIA, two most sought after professional courses The ROI of this college is one of the best in entire country as its fees is only Rs 75,000 (approx.) for entire course with a average placement of 10 lakh. SSCBS has very strong alumni network as many of its ex-students are working in high posts in big companies
Course Curriculum is designed by keeping in mind the latest need of the industry. It gives student knowledge about various practical and theoretical subjects used in corporate world. Ranging from Python, R, to Organizational Behavior and Entrepreneurship it covers everything. Faculty teaching us are very experienced in their subjects and are very disciplined and punctual about their syllabus. Also most of the teachers are interactive and friendly in nature which allow students to understand the subject much better. Level of semester exams are a bit on tough side. But all of it is covered in the syllabus before exams.
I have done 3 marketing and finance internship where my stipend ranged from 10k to 15k In second year college provides you summer internship whose monthly stipend ranges from 15k to 1 lakhs Most of these internship are related to finance and marketing field, while some also have other roles such as founder's office intern and HR intern
Placements are the USP of SSCBS. Median package offered last year was around 10LPA, with highest package of 25LPA Companies like BAIN, McKinsey, Deloitte etc visit campus for recruitments. Eligibility criteria for placement in minimum 7.5 CGPA (average) Many students also go to IIM'S for MBA after completing their degree.
1st year fees (along with admission fees)- Rs 26000 2nd year fees - Rs 24000 3rd year fees- Rs 24000. All the categories of student have same fee structure as mentioned above. Two major financial aid provided to students are Reliance foundation scholarship which provides about Rs 50,000 each year to students (Total Rs 1,50,000). Financial Aid provided to student falling under certain criteria from college (100% fees will be refunded)
College building is not very big as compared to other college of DU, but its definitely the most hi-tech building in entire DU circuit Every class room is equipped with AC and whole building has 8 working lifts for students and staffs There are many events and fest related to festivals, sports and societies every year The annual fest Crescendo take place in month of March- April each year. Its a 3 day event consisting of DJ Night, Prom Night and artist event
Hostel is provided on the basis of cutoff and categories. List of Hostel allotment is also uploaded on college website after admissionsHostel food is average in taste and quality. But it do covers different varieties of food Many option of different PG and mess within 1-2 km of area
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
