- I liked the circullum of my college and the studious atmosphere and the experience of it industry is just fabulous
- Another thing is the event happening in the college is the best thing like and it is a life time experience
Dislikes
- On bad thing of the college it that have to maintain the timing schedule of the lecture because so it cost the headache for the students coming from far away places
- Another bad thing is that they have to keep some facilities for handicapped students as it is challenging for them to climb stairs
Remarks :
There are major 4 factors that made me to choose the pillai college because it is one of the the best college in Navi Mumbai and it has A+ Rank given by various educational institutions and the pillai college also provide you the international course offering as it contains points system. As I have choose bsc CS it doesn't not require to give you any written test or interview but firstly if you are taking admission from engineering you have to deal with sort of interview the cut-off from the branch which I was applied was around 60-70% at second round
Course Curriculum Overview :
Reason behind choosing this course was my interest in computer science field as we all pillai secure the best education society and the faculty members have the qualifications of masters in computer science and holding a PhD and also having 25+ years of experience the teachers are very friendly to you and treated you as a little baby but you have to that sincere in your studies and also the teaching method are about the time table he give you one month summary how the teaching process will go how you should cope up with it every year there are two semesters each which consists of 100 marks every subject and you have to submit one project based on all your understanding of that year
Internships Opportunities :
In the duration of my degree we have to complete one internship to get your degree the TCS was given me the unpaid internship for 3 months but it was worth for Mee as the quality of experience i gained was next level i duration of the intership i have done one project based on data handling where I was under 5 of my colleague where in have to handle the data from sql table and fetch query related to it
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria is set up by our placement team of your pillai college which gives you following before appearing for the placement last year when was performing my second year Axis Bank,TCS Bank of Baroda and many other top 15 companies was appeared for placement the highest package was given to the students of MBA student by Amazon of 23 lpa and 6 lpa was offered to bs CS student by TCS around 35% students was offered placement My plans was to perform MCA after bsc CS and I recent at my first year of MCA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course which I was enrolled in was computer science bsc CS the fees structure was as follows 28000 was the tution fees and 1500 was the examination fees and 100 was the aswa megh fees and 2500 was the library fees 500 was the pillai paper and instruments and 2000 was the computer lab fees around 1000 was the emergency fees and 50 was the alumini fees and 10 was the nss fees and 3000 was the skills and development fees the financial aid is also provided to the divangan students by giving them some opportunity in there field and scholarship
Campus Life :
Pillai college consists of various event like tech Algeria, Algeria,Rose day and so on and Algeria is one of the most famous event in Navi Mumbai and as big bollywood celebrities are invited to this event it is of 3 days first is of comedy nights Second day dj wars and 3 day a farewell event as per my knowledge and pillai college consists of two library one is of offline and other one is of online where offline lets you to experience the studious environment and access of 200+ books of various branches and classroom also contains a digital projector for demonstration of presentation and live online lecture

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.
