Remarks :
No the admission is based on merit and Valia College is widely known for providing data science as best degree in thier college and the faculty is very amazing so for that i took admission . I basically got to know information through a fellow friend who is studying in bsc IT in the same college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this college because , first of all it is very travel friendly ( almost all kinds of transport is available). The location is very good and safe ( it has a police station next to it ).The premises are very hygeinic and the canteen serves awesome and fresh food.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes there are alot of internships opportunities in college , like imarticus , library intern , sales intern , cybersecurity presentation programme , Quick heal foundation program etc, all these are paid internships.
Placement Experience :
there is seperate placement cell of valia college , THere are several interships even inside the college such as the cybersecurity presentation program , library internship and yesterday we got notified from a company for sales intern program recruitment .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In data science ,for students without maths the fees is 57k per year and with maths is 52k per year . Scholarships are provided to people who have scored more than 70% in 12 th and have a family income less than 3 lakhs per annum. The admission is based on merit.
Campus Life :
Valia college is famous for its Jallosh event and the Garba fest that takes place every year.There are alot of other fests that takes place and there are alot of committees in the college which conduct fun trips event and everything. Almost the whole college knows each and every person in the college because there are alot of events which require meetuos , recently we won a trophy at hope event for which we went to wilson college.
Hostel Facilities :
The food is extremely hygeinic and the transport system through which we can come to college gives alot of options , because its an metrpolitian area. Hostel is basically not really required because mist of the crowd is only from mumbai .

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.
