- All our kitchens in college are commerical kitchens where students can practice bulk cooking also and even some five star hotels doesn't have that good kitchens
- Same way the two mock restaurants setup for students are not any less than an actual restaurants and bars also on weekends the restaurants are used as commercial which gives students a brief experience about how the restaurants works.
Dislikes
- Everything is good but just that everyone thinks is college is on a little bit of expensive side, but still it is always worthy for the price paid.
- The weather is always rainy there it's good for some people as they like rainy weather but me personally doesn't like it much.
Remarks :
Top College for Hotel Management, and the college infrastructure is something that is very important for this kind of courses and WGSHA provides it to the fullest. For the entrance there will be proctored online test, then followed by an interview with one of the senior faculty and also one interview with the principal of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course Curriculum for BHM is very much extensive and broad. It's good that you will have a basic idea of how masters in hotel management also will be. Faculty are very much certified and very well trained and supportive. Academics are all affiliated with Manipal University which is deemed University.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are plenty and also will be arranged by college itself , I have did my internship with JW Marriott and stipend per month would be 5-8k per month but as initially intership is just for an experience in hotels, students are not paid much.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement is just that you should not have any backlogs, job opportunities are plenty and all the best companies will be coming to the campus. Packages are not something that are great as per the industry but still the jobs are great, and I'm already placed from college and I started working. I'm placed with Taj hotels.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
3,60,000/- yearly tution fees, 10,000/- as caution deposit. Course tenure is of 4 years. Registration fees would somewhere around 800-1000/-, BA Culinary arts is a course of 3 years and fees is a bit lesser than BHM. BA Culinary arts - 3,00,000/- per year tution fees. And all this information is of 2020.
Campus Life :
Name a festival you'll have it there, Social life and Manipal are made for each other combination. Clubs, infrastructure and sports what not you'll have everything there and also the college supports for all the extra curricular activities also.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted hostel for all four years, hostels and mess's are a bit expensive on side but still they are all worthy for the money paid , specially try to opt only for wgsha mess, hands down best mess in Manipal.

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
