My main reason for getting admission to this college is to get exposure. There was no GD. However, there was a PI round in which they checked your communication skills. The admission process was easy and convenient.
I chose finance because I want to make my career in the field of finance. The faculty here is good and most of them have Ph.D. and industry exposure. Exams happen every month which consist of your end term followed by mid-term.
Yes, I have opted for the internship from outside, and the college offers opportunities but this year the finance internship and jobs are not many. Most of the internships are for HR, Marketing, and operations.
The placement is here OK. Most companies offer sales profiles and the college wants you to find the internship and final placement by yourself. Companies come to the campus like World Wide Technology, GEP, RSM Astute Consulting, Reliance Retail, and SMFG India. They offer packages between 5-8 LPA and the placement percentage would be around 80-90 from the college because most of the students found jobs by themselves.
The campus is not very big. However, the vibe here is good. The infrastructure is also good and the classes are well-equipped. The library has many books and they also help you with E-books. There are many social groups for students. Yes, I have opted for the Hostel, and the hostel is OK. The menu changes every week.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
