- The interior college infrastructure and the greenry and tree plantations.
- The trips arranged by the college like one was the shoes factory visit.
Dislikes
- Like if a students is injured the college don't allow the use of college lift and even have a fine of rs 5000.
- the parking outside the college is also very bad like the vehicle gets stolen from outside.
Remarks :
The factors that I choose this college was the distance and time saving, first off all was my parents that they never wanted to sent me for outstation studies. There was the written exam, personal interview and then A group discussion done by the college teachers itself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course as I wanted to try some exciting things in my life. The teachers here are well qualified and also the visiting faculty teachers are also very qualified and teaches in a good and easy explanation methods so that even if the student is weak he is also unable to understand.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees my parents paid is in 2 time per year like in 6months 1 semester. the fees include college trips and the canteen facility. the fees also includes the orientation and the outstation trips scheduled by college.
Campus Life :
There are sports week held every year in the month of DECEMBER. The books and question paper of all the course related books are available for 1 week of issuing period. There are various college cultural groups and the most famous group of my college is THE RAAG music society.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
