- I like about how we have so many cafes around our campus !
- I like my faculty a lot as they are very hospitable.
Dislikes
- I do not like how we have to move so much for classes as walking in slopes is too much hardworking .
- The open air theatre that we have is too small to accommodate students during any event.
Remarks :
The College offers Bachelors in Design Program with less fees than compared to other colleges in India. They also provide ample materials and study options. For admission procedure, we have to go through a simple interview where we share our own portfolio for choosing Design as a subject. For the interview, it is required to be blunt and show all of our previous artworks to strengthen our abilities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Design as a subject as I was immensely interested in learning it. Our faculty consists of extremely qualified, former IIT Professors who also have their qualifications from The States. Our exams are mostly practical based than written theory. We have report writings, Model making, and other Software works.
Placement Experience :
Placement is not offered in my course; we have direct internships and company visits to give our interviews. the highest package was: 30-40 lakhs p.a the lowest package was: 1.2 lakhs p.a My plan after getting the degree is to apply for freelancing along with making webtoons.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly Tuition Fees: rs 212000 4 years course Registration from: rs 1500 Admission fees from: rs20000 Scholarships available are from- 12th marksheet, as well as Himachal Domicile. Amounts of scholarships can go upto: 30000 discount.
Campus Life :
Life is good at Shoolini. The campus is always vibrant with beautiful atmosphere, flowers, birds and trees all around the campus. We have our own library and sports fields to us; along with gymnasium. There are many clubs that students can participate in and appear during various events along the year.
Hostel Facilities :
The Mess food quality is above average, but they only consist of vegetarian foods. As a non-vegetarian it is difficult to always buy and eat non-veg , therefore the mess is not so upto the mark as a non-vegetarian. Hostel registration is easily available through the college website. There we just need to choose the sharing capacity whether we need a double, triple, or a quadruple sharing room. It is affordable for the students as the quadruple room requires 52000 per semester; along with amenities such as hot water, laundry service, special dinners, hostel events, etc.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
