The college was not much far away from my place , it required less travelling only 40 min by train which was quite convenient for me. I didn't face any group discussions, interviews or written tests for admission. It is a BSc degree and college accepts students for admission on the basis of the 12th grade results also for which it's first come first serve for intake of 60 seats additional can be taken through management
I was always intrested in computers and software which drew my attention towards this course and I opted for the course The faculties are MSc in CS or MSc in IT and absolutely beginners in the field of teaching. I would say the quality of teachers in the campus is not appreciated. They aren't able to teach the students properly except a few other all are not proper with teaching. Teachers might seem qualified through education but not through their teachings. Exams are conducted every 5-6 months for every semester(total no of semesters throughout the course is 6)which are 6 months apart. There are also 15 marks internal unit test exams held 2-3 after the new semester starts The difficulty level is moderate .
Nope I haven't yet opted for any internship since I'm still learning many skills in different domains and once I'm done learning I'll surely apply for internship opportunities given by college and as well as outside the college wherever possible. The companies offering internship in my campus changes every year so I can name one which I know which is Spiders and stipend offered is of 20,000
The yearly fees is minimum 40,000 which keeps on increasing as per the institutional rules and decisions . The fees for complete course is approximately 1,20,000( as of 2023 pass out students). The total tution is 37,800 . The total stationary fees is 3200. The stationary fees are compulsorily to be paid in cash and tution fees can be paid in any other formats like UPI, bank transfer, pay-check, cash. The institution is private so there aren't much facilities for ST/SC students by the college. The college follows the Mumbai University curriculum and regulations by the university so there are a few scholarships by the university for the students. The college fees are completely wired in the scholarship amount given by the university. The procedure is very easy students need to attached a few documents asked by the university and fill the form to avail the scholarship.(Only for backward classes)
There's a fest called Enthusia which is conducted in month December or sometimes January. Also there are named days in college like: Saree day Traditional day Mismatch day Bollywood day, etc The days are also conducted one or two weeks after the 'Enthusia' event. The Library is full of reference books for students which are always open and available for students. Students can avail it as per their requirements There are a few clubs run by students like Green club for protection of trees and environment. Musical club, literary club,DLLE .. there are no other clubs for students
No I haven't opted for the hostel since I live close by the location which just requires short travelling of 40 min so I didn't opt for a hostel But I do know the hostel fees since some of my friends have opted for hostel and they say that there isn't much of good experience and they don't even like canteen food it's too expensive for daily basis
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old.
