The factors that led me to choose this college are it is more of a career focused college that provide various hons as well as vocational courses. Widely known for the various societies and the knowledgeable teaching staff CVS is worth trying for.
I choose this course because I want to become a software developer and regarding the faculty there are qualified teachers with years of experience under their belt. The transition to college wasn't easy as the syllabus seemed very hard at first but slowly it will become understandable.
Not so sure about the placements but there are various internships offered throughout the years or you can search for them yourself as Delhi has various employment opportunities that can help you in the process and can also help in profile building.
The total yearly fees can come around 45000 with about 3000-3500 as admission fee in first year. The fee of CS is higher as compared to other couses and there are opportunities for scholarships (national and international) as we progress.
The campus life of CVS is great with good classmates and helpful seniors. The college is widely known for its various societies and is very active in sports. Societies like Reverie, Inspirix, Eric etc. can help you gain experience and grow your personality also helpful for building CV. The infrastructure is not that great as of now but it can be overlooked because of the other things.
There are no hostel facilities in CVS(and in many other DU colleges) but pg's and flats can be found nearby. Your best interest would be to rent a flat with other people as pgs can be quite expensive and can provide a very uncomfortable experience while flats can help you to save money to spend on other things.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
