Their was no such entry barrier in the college; you can get the admissions easily; just come fast. No major cutoffs are expected. The admission process will be smooth as Staaf will help in every manner, and for any issues, the computer labs of the college can be used too.
The college follows the criculum of University of Mumbai, as per my liking the criculum is not up to the date , but college conducts VAC (value added courses) in the college some are free some are paid depends on the nature and resources required, these VAC are done on saturdays so no studies are disturbed.
Nope I didn't attend any internships during college, but their were opportunities to learn via VCA programs, so I learned and improved my knowledge in the IT industry. which have helped me to understand and learn new technologies faster and better than any other student.
I can tell just for 2024 their were campus placements but they were in a ratio of 1:6, i.e. If we got 6 times more opportunities in the sales and BPO sectors, then IT's college performance for placements wasn't good enough for this year, as per my understanding, and I don't trust any placement guarantee or percentage here or anywhere.
The complete course fees are around 2 lakhs 10 thousand; FEES is to be PAID yearly. Thus, approximately around 70k per year, and from the past 3 to 5 years the fees have remained almost the same. Their is no additional fees for exams of anything but you have to pay for KTs and reexams.
The campus is large compared to any other college in Mumbai; it has 3 various departments. The campus is equipped with a number of canteens, xerox rooms, etc. for easy student life. The infrastructure is a major advantage for students, as all the classrooms and libraries are equipped with ACs, large capacity, and strict rules too.
Nope, The college does not provide any hostel facilities at all; if a person wants to stay and study, they will have to rent an apartment or find a hostel nearby. Sorry, but the college lacks this facility as most of the students are local residents.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
