- Societies give wonderful experience. SRCC opens gate for many opportunities. A person just needs to grab it.
- Environment is very supportive around. Library has a software to check plagiarism as well so when students wants their assignments to be checked, they are detected for free.
Dislikes
- There are less number of classes in comparison to number of students which leads to long timetables.
- Environment and people around are very competitive that sometimes theybecome too selfish and show less humanity for others.
Remarks :
There is no GD/PI for admission into SRCC but there's an entrance test called CUET - Common University Entrance Test which is mandatory. Then there is CSAS portal specifically for Delhi University where students must log in and fill their college preferences and they will be alloted the course and college based on their preferences. Highest weightage is given to marks in CUET and class 12th results. I prepared for CUET through YouTube videos like Adda 247 for General Test specifically. Rest all subjects I prepared myself and it gets prepared alongside your preparation for 12th boards because the syllabus is same. The mere differene is CUET is MCQ type where both knowledge and speed matters. Coming onto factors that made me choose this college. SRCC was my dream college because its the Asia's Best Commerce College. I think this in itself was a major factor why choose SRCC.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My interest lies in Commerce, Finance related domain so I choose to pursue Bcom hons. SRCC has the greatest faculty of all times. What makes it the best college is actually 2 things- Great students and great teachers. Faculty and staff is so supportive, coopertive that you can literally share every information with them. They will really help you in making career choices and guide you upto the most they can. Teaching methods are also modern using smartboads and are not primitive. End term exams are easy but there is lot of pressure for internals. There are regular and long interval classes alongwith tutes for solving doubts and attendance is strictly mandatory now. It should be atleast 75%.
Internships Opportunities :
Happequity Investments and Finance Role - Associate Management Trainee Stipend - 20000 per month It was a finance related internship wherein we need to pitch our clients the best investment opportunity like Life Insurance or some other investment plan suitable to their needs. I also made a summer internship project report at the end.
Placement Experience :
SRCC is one of the top rankers in terms of placements. Highest package offered was 35 lakhs per annum in 2024. Over 500 students got placed successfully. Eligibility criteria is 75% attendance and to get enrolled with the placement cell. Major companies that visited circles around financing and consulting. I'm also aiming for placements but if no campus placement is offered will go for MBA in finance.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For general category, fee is around 30,000 per year For OBC and SC/ST category, fee is somewhere between 25,000 to 30,000 per year For handicaped children, fee is just around 1000 Rs a year For foreign students students fee is around 45000 Rs a year The fee structure may slightly differs from this in future but is almost the same for last 3 batches Scholarships are also given. Criteria being merit based and need+merit based.
Campus Life :
Cross Roads is the main fest conducted somewhere in April-May. SRCC has a full fledged and maintained library where you can find all your books. it has a big Sports complex. Classrooms are well equipped with ACs and smartboard alongwith blackboards. Students get information from an App which is specifically designed for SRCC students. All information including notices is disseminated to sudents through this App only. Attendance is also regularly updated on smartprof for students to see whether their attendance is sattisfactory or not.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel but will let you know by my friends experience. Hostel is also affordable. Girls hostel and boys hostel is there. Both are newly renewated. There is rest room for girls in hostel. To apply for histel rooms there a form which needs to be filled which can be easily available on college website.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
