Remarks :
MSIHMCT is the only college in Pune which offers full time 4 year degree course in hotel management. An exam is conducted by Maharashtra education board which is mandatory for the addmission. You can apply for the college by your CET exam score. Average percentage for the admission is above 75%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course offers various opportunities in hospitality industry. One can choose in which field they want their career to grow. College faculty is well educated and some of them are of pursuing PhD. Exams are conducted twice the year as whole course is divided into 8 semesters.
Internships Opportunities :
College have a dedicated semester for the internship. Students of 3rd year must complete 4 month internship with recognised 5 star properties and get a completion certificate. This intership helps students to choose their specialisation for the 3rd and 4th year.
Placement Experience :
College gives hundred percent placement guarantee to the Passing students. College invites various 5 star properties such as Oberoi, Taj, JW Marriott. These 5 star properties offer various positions to the students
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Maharashtra State Institute of Hotel Management and Catering technology is situated in model colony, Shivajinagar . College offers 3 years diploma and 4 years degree course. College is now offering 2 years of masters degree also. Fees for the 4 years of batchelor degree is Rs84,000 per year. Students can pay the amount in installments of two. College offers scholarship for the students from OBC, SC and ST category. With the Tuition fees weaver scheme, students can get upto 80 to 90 percent scholarship.
Campus Life :
As a hotel management college, different types of fests are organised in the college. College celebrates different festivals such as Diwali and Christmas and also organise freshers for the newcomers and the farewell for the passing batch.
Hostel Facilities :
As I'm not living in the hostel of the college I personally don't have deep information about the hostel wing. Though college offers accommodation for the students and have a inbuilt hostel wing in the college.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College
Placement Experience :
Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat
Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
