I am from the arts background and due to covid 19 exam got cancelled and cut off were to high for getting into a Hon's courses in Delhi University. I didn't gave any test or interview for admission. But now you will get addmission on the basis of cuet exam score.
Course is pretty good its all about theory and philosophy of different political thinkers and ideology. This score is more about on the academic line. Faculty in our tenure was 50% good 50% bad as some teachers don't take classes and some are very strict as they will not even consider real problem of students. For eg in my last semester and the first one there were two prof, they didn't conducted class the whole semester and in last they didn't even have the students enough marks in there internal assessment too like highest marks from 25 she gave was 11.
There are not so good placement opportunities in this college morning batch does provide but not evening. College send the mails for company providing jobs and internships but there is not such good college campus placement here.
I paid around 14.5k in my first year after which college refund me 1000rs later and in my second and third year in paid around 13.5k per year. This includes everything thing no extra fees were taken from this except I paid examination fees every semester to university of Delhi that is 100 rs per subject you are appearing in exam and 100 rs as a platform fee( for eg per semester there were 4 subject so 4×100+ 110 platform fee/ university fee = 510) the examination fees increase if number of subjects also increases. These are the only fees I paid during my graduation .
Pgdav Eve college is a off campus college so there is no such other collge near by and no campus life just a lajpat nagar market nearby and some few shops near the college. Even college campus is not so big, just one ground and mostly closed. Basic amenities like washroom and water cooler are in proper condition. Washroom stinks. And library is also very small and library staff is rude. The the most important fest celebration is very low, no celebrity comes it's more like a school than college. In my opinion please don't choose pgdav Eve college.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
