- The location of the college is best. The weather is nice, most of the thing are available. Transportation is not good as there only 3-4 buses to college in a day
- The campus is spacious and have multiple grounds in the college for sports.
Dislikes
- The transportation is the most annoying thing
- Sometimes in winter the weather gets too cold
Remarks :
The location, weather and word of mouth made me choose this college. I took admission in lateral entry for which I gave the lateral entry examination by uttrakhand technical university, in which I scored 124 rank, with quota I got CSE
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in computers from a young age which made me choose this branch. The faculty is friendly and the teaching methods are same as any other college, exam are always conducted on time, even mid terms are conducted on pre defined dates
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for internships at the moment as I am preparing for the gate examination. We have done multiple project during our academic period, which consists of ml and web dev. Our most recent project was sign langy recognition using machine learning
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities are good and if a student is good in academics he will be placed, the placement faculty is nice and helpful. But placement preparation is not present in the circulam average package is around 4.5 lakhs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is same for all students every year, scholarship are offered through nsp The other fees during admission which consists of caution fees and registration is around 5000. Merit scholarships is also provided for students with exceptional results. The hostel fees is 18400 per semester, and mess fee is also refunded for days you take off from hostel
Campus Life :
There are two fests in college annually first is Josh sports events in which multiple indoor and outdoor games are played it is conducted in September of each year and the other event is Goonj it is the cultural fest for 3 days consisting of various performance by every branch and every year, the Goonj is ended by a edm night on the closing night
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I love in hostel, 1st year to 3rd year boys live in room shared by 3 students. Each student has its own chair, table and almirahs. The total fees of hostel is 18400(16000 mess and 2400 hostel). If you are away from hostel you can submit a application and your meal charges will be refunded on the start on next year

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
