- I like the infrastructure of our college and it is very good .
- I like the campus as it is located near the foothills of Gandhamardhan hills.
Dislikes
- The placement scenario is very bad for most of the branches mostly CSE especially.
- The faculty are not very trained in skill development.
Remarks :
I firstly appeared for JEE MAINS examination in which i score quite a decent score after which i waited for some months to get my result displayed in the JEE MAINS portal . There is a cutoff list of previous year students ,we have to check then applied for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I actually chose computer science and engineering because of the rising demand in market and my personal interest and my friends and family suggested me this course to enroll in it. Minimum Qualification of faculty is Post Graduation and their teaching method is average. The term exams are after 4-5 months after admission in this course and exam are little bit difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done my internship in Defense Research Development Organization in Balasore and i got it through my connections. it was a unpaid internship. I was a given a task to make a group project on telephone directory management system and i was tasked to do the database part.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is that you must have scored more than 60% in both 10th and 12th. there should no active backlogs. Ther placement scenario is not good for cse , civil etc . the placement for mining ,mineral, metallurgy is good. for cse only bpo and sales company and f 1or 2 it companies less than 20000 package come . the highest pckage is 16 lpa for mining and lowest for cse. i would go for higher studies after getting degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total yearly fees is Rs.27430, out of which tuition fees is around Rs. 12000 and other fees is around Rs.15430.The other fees include lab fees, development fees . the fees for SC/ST is same in or college.
Campus Life :
The number of fests in this college are very minimum in number and i also participated in the all branch fest of ours and other branches also like " Vidyuttam " and "Xenesis" etc. The availability of books and journals in the library is enough and also amenities. Sports are conducted in the month of December ,January. groups like RAW And IDC etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is average and menu is different on different days ,non veg is provided for five days a week. Hostel could be allotted by yourself by giving fees in the sbi portal. The infrastructure of hostel is good.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
