Likes
- The campus is quite huge and spacious with lot of greenery and security. The faculty is good and there are a lot of events for development of students in most fields, The infrastructure is quite good and the campus life feels like a relaxing and calm place, The canteen food is hygienic and good in taste
- The clubs, networking of students, opportunity in every field is great and it is great place for students to develop and unleash their potential
Dislikes
- The cost of food in canteen is a bit high as compared to normal cafes in public.
- The rules in the college are strict as compared to other colleges.
Remarks :
The factors for choosing this college is because of its reputation, affordability, culture, security and network. The students and faculty in here are quite smart and educated with great networks. The admission process was 1st CBT test of MIT-CET, 2nd an online interview round which made me get into the college. I prepared Mathematics, logical reasoning, English, IT, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for the test.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was opting for B.tech CSE (AIDS) program but the cut off for general category was 90% + in MH-CET and 85% + for JEE mains and so I took BCA as the curriculum and structure is similar to b.tech. The curriculum of BCA is quite simple and flexible, the teaching method uses both traditional as well as modern method to ensure perfect understanding. The faculty is quite approaching and ready to help students in anything. The term exams is just right. It isn't too difficult or too easy.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't applied for any intership, but according to my conversation with majority of seniors they say that they get nice interships in start up companies and had great experience as there are a lot of tech start ups and IT parks with job opportunities to provide intership opportunities to freshers too.
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite decent as for tier 2 college, the highest CTC salary for BCA is 10LPA and average is 4LPA - 7 LPAon campus. The college also provides internship opportunity since 1st Year for students to make most out of it. The companies which come for placement are Nvidia, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, TCL, Capgemini etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The per year fees for BCA (Science) at MIT-WPU, Pune is ?1,70,000 which in total is ?5,10,000 for 3 years and ?6,80,000 if Opted for BCA Honors program. The scholarship is given on The basis of MIT-CET Exam, People belonging to weaker economic and based on their performances in every semester.
Campus Life :
The campus is quite huge approx 68 acers of land with spacious parking space, gardens, sports ground etc. There are non stop events happening in the MIT-WPU college like hackathons, cultural event, aarohan fest etc. The colleges also have a lot of clubs like google, amazon, cultural, sports, entrepreneurship, networking etc. The library is in completely separate building which makes the library huge with lots of books from each field. The sports selection and competition happens every 2 months or so. There are linkedIN profiles, instagram pages, website of clubs and college itself.

It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.
