For me in this college is nearby my hometown that's why I choose the government college of engineering Amravati also it is an autonomous college which is a advantage. For taking admission here you have to clear MHTCET exam conducted by government of Maharashtra. College cut off was 88 percentile for open category.
The course curriculum in Government College of engineering Amravati is designed according to national education policy 2022. Which focuses on overall development of students faculties are helpful in nature also be guide us in academy. We have two CT exam s and one end sem exam. Some of the score of these three exams is 100 to clear semester you have to score 40 marks at least
There is no internship availability in our college we have to find internship at our own I did not acted for any kind of internship till now but I am searching for the internships in various companies which will give me a stipend I expect
A good placement opportunities are available here for that we have to score good in academics and have practical knowledge with skills improved. Last year from electrical engineering price 25 to 30 students get placed in a company having good LPA
Government College of engineering open category students have to pay fees of rupees 85160 per year it v where is according to a category for OBC it is 44000 and for SC ST category it is 4000 per year. We get a scholarship of maha dbt which gives open category students 4000 per year and for category students this scholarship pays remaining fees.
The campus life life is quite good but infrastructure is a developing phase that's why we have to adjust according to our lectures for classroom we have a library which has lots of books required for our academics but it is not available 24/7 the timing of library is morning 10 to 6:00 p.m. in sports we have Kalpana Chawla trophy also we have lots of clubs including a robotic forum and e-cell.
Hostel rooms are required good and a cell mess is better than other mess. Infrastructure is great and to apply for hostel rooms we have to give application at the time of admission in the college after that we get allocated to hostel according to availability of seats
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
