My experience in college of Agriculture, GKVK Bangalore
Remarks :
This college is in Bangalore So I loved Bangalore from my childhood itself and I wanted to come to Bangalore for the study So after selection in the ICAR exam my 1st preference was gkvk banglore only!
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was too good In 4 years I studied so many cources The semester system is too good And the faculties are so friendly that we understand each and every topics They have given more importance to practical knowledge!
Internships Opportunities :
Yes every year our university organises Krishi mela In that so many multinational companies, comes to show their products and services I got an 1 month internship in Dolls export private limited company came to our college where I learnt about tracter tyres
Placement Experience :
Yes the university has the placement cell Through which many agriculture based companies approaches the students I got selected in IDBI bank for the package of 6.5 LPA That bank came through placement cell itself
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Sem-1 fees 18500 rs Sem-2 fees 22500 rs This will be same for all 8 semesters! I was ICAR student so I got 3000rs scholarship per month And they have very good system for the payment they have theirs own app! Named UGAM
Campus Life :
The college is so big Our classes also are too good and everyone are friendly They have various clubs like cultural club, Sports club, Research clubs, etc So based on students interst they can join any of these
Hostel Facilities :
I stayed in hostel only It is good Mess bill comes around 3000 per month So food quality was the best acc to me One room 4 students were there it's spacious and you can study easily in room also You can apply for the hostel at the time of admission

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
