Graphic era has a good reputation and a good placement record for b.tech course hence I chose graphic era for my graduation and I didn't faced any written test or gd for admissions. At my time it was totally based on your class 12th or JEE score.
B.tech course compromises of various aspects and branches. Mine is computer science. Starting from first year most of the faculties are very supportive and the classes schedule is not much like a burden to carry. One issue was there that there was 1-2 hrs gaps between the classes that wasted our time rest the curriculum and the faculties were well and fine.
On campus internships are little on a lower side as there are only few opportunities for on campus internships. I got myself an off campus internship through LinkedIn. Campus internship were available but mostly in big companies like Amazon, Flipkart and they hire mostly 4-5 candidates at max.
Currently I am in final year of my course and campus placement is going on. We are getting mails for new new companies like every two or three days and previous records for placements are also very good.

In Gehu dehradun campus life is not very much social specially for courses like B.tech . Freshers farewells are most enjoyable part definitely and various competitions and co curricular activities are held regularly in college which makes your journey better not only academically but also socially.
I have rented a room with my friend and the locality of pg is good. Everything is available nearby including mess, shops, resturants and transportation facilities. My hometown is just 50km form College so I preferred pg over hostel.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
