The institute is ranked number one college in vidarbha after rtmnu campus and is NAAC and NBA accredited and ranked 64th in all India pharmacy colleges. Also our principal is the APTI president elected this year.
The course offers various opportunities like a pharmacist can go into production and manufacturing of drugs or else clinical research etc. The course curriculum offers various specialization like specialization in pharmacology, pharmacovigilance, pharmaceutics etc. The staff is highly qualified here all having a pHd in their respective fields.
We did our internship at ZIM laboratories nagpur which is located at pagal khana chowk in nagpur. Where we learnt about various machinaries and technologies used in the manufacturing of tablets and other dosage forms.
Here, the major focus and priority is given to the students persuing their masters in pharmacy but recently we had macloids (an MNC) at our campus which took interviews to place students in their industry. Along with a medical coding company called Advantmed.
The annual fee of an open category student is one lakh twenty four thousand rupees only and for OBC (Other Backward Class) and EWS (Ecomically Weaker Section) the annual fees is seventy thousand only per year.
The campus is huge and filled with greenery all around. The college conducts annual fest called KSHITIJ where students can participate and showcase their talents which is usually kept in the summers during march.
I have not opted for hostel here at kamptee, i travel from nagpur till kamptee regularly but i have heard from my batch mates about the quality of rooms our institute provides and the quality of food the mess offers. It is remarkable.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
