Remarks :
MAH MCA CET ENTRANCE EXAM conducted every year is one of the ways to get the admission in SIOM. You will have to score atleast 84 to 88 percentile to get the admission in 1st to 3rd round . There are so many classes for MCA CET or you can study by self . One of the main reason to choose SIOM was college placement is good here and also the staff .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed MCA because i wanted to pursue my career into IT sector. And MCA is one of those degrees which are preferred for the IT sector. And all the teaching staff here in SIOM almost is a phd holder and student friendly . Terms exam are conducted on time twice before the university exams . And are moderate in difficulty level . There is fee structure depending on your category and cast if you are qualified through CET rounds. Fee for open student is almost 1 lakh per year. And if you are eligible for any kind of scholarship provided by govt. Then the non teaching staff guides you accordingly.
Internships Opportunities :
I opted for web development internship program by codsoft pvt ltd. There are so many opportunities provided by college for the internship drives. They ask you for mini project Every semester based on your syllabus.
Placement Experience :
There is no specific criteria for college placement , evryone can attend the placement drives if there is no such criteria coming from the company itself. Many companies like cognizant, Infosys are the recruiters who visited recently. Average package offered here is 3 to 4 lakh per annum and highest package may get 10 lakhs per annum for software developers etc. My plan is to get the job through college placements only because it is the quickest way to get the job of your profile.
Campus Life :
Sinhgad are known for conducting one of the best tech fest and extra curricular events . There are so many functions and activities carried out throughout the academic year and all of them are best to be part of. They are conducted in feb and march months. Also sinhgad has one of the biggest libraries in pune with a whole 4 floor building. Teachers do prefer digital methods for teaching through projectors . Also sinhgad institutes provides best of the opportunities in sports . Sinhgad student council are one of the social group run by the students here. I haven't appointmented for the hostel but the campus has so many commercial apartments to live . So you can choose them.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat
Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
