Campus Life is good at Spicer because the campus is so nature friendly and very peaceful than other university campuses seen by me. There are various events takes place in a year like every Tuesday they conduct chapel meetings and every Thursday they conduct department meetings for every department. They celebrate founders day in August , Cultural Day in September and many more events like exhibition and all. The major event is Christmas they celebrate it from 25th of December to 31st of December these days are celebrated with good food , music , dance ,drama and etc. Spicer is also known for sports too....sports like volleyball, basketball, football and cricket tournament takes place every year.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
