Heard this college is good for law, also the fees are quite affordable. Only A 10 min interview was taken for checking General knowledge. Questioned they asked me was related to my hometown Kolkata and why I wanted to take admission in this college and chose law
Course curriculum is good and thorough, faculties are good to but they could be better. They aren't highly qualified. Most of them are PhD scholars I the college itself, They have zero teaching skills. Also, most faculties discriminate between students. Hard work is not honored in our college, they give marks only to people who appease them and are rude to others.
Yes I've taken internship from college at an NGO "HOPE" in Kolkata in my 1st year. Not a good experience though as all we had to do was talk to the kids who were beneficiaries under that NGO and prepare their yearly progress reports to send them to their donors who paid for their education through the NGO.
Placements are available but they aren't high paying. If you wanna get a high paying placement, apply on your own, don't take placement offered by college lol. No specific eligibility for placements in our department. They offer 100% placements.
Yearly fees are 1,30,000 in general but there are also merit based scholarship available for students scoring more than 75% in 12th. They would get 10000 off on their semester fees while those who got more than 85% would get a scholarship of 15000 discount on semester fees and those who scored more than 95% would get a 20000 discount on their semester fees. I pay Rs. 50000 per semester as I got 92% on my 12th
Very small campus. Basic infrastructure is missing. No fests are held here. Last year a small fest called L'amour Eve was held on October/November. Library lacks enough books for research. Sports, fashion and other clubs are there though, they are all run by students.
They have no personal hostel of their own. They have only two empanelled hostels outside the campus, which is also far from the campus. Locality is good, people are cooperative, rented rooms and PG sre enough available.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
