I chose this college because my course Bsc. Animation is available only in a few selected colleges. Mit was close to where I live and could travel up and down everyday and it has a good name. I had to give an aptitude test to be able to take admission in this college.
I chose Animation cause it's a creative field and allows us to express ourselves in any medium we want. And choosing this course helped me being more creative thinker. Faculty are well qualified and they teach good and have good practical knowledge. We have total 6 semesters for 3yrs. Each semester consists of 2 class tests and 1 practical exam and 1 theory written exam.
The placement and job opportunities for my course are average. We don't have many companies coming in. The elegibility criteria is you need a good pointer and need to able to crack aptitude tests. The highest package in our college was around 16 lacs. My plans after getting a degree is to do a job for a year or two and then pursue higher education from foreign.
The yearly fees is 85,300 that students have to pay to take admission in the next year. You have to pay it all at once college doesn't allow installments. If you want to pay in installments we have grayquest services that allow the students to pay their fees in installments with EMI depending on the period of time. That's the only fees you need to pay for a whole year other than additional 990rs fee for exams that are conducted by SPPU. Scholarships are available throughtout the year depending on your scores and if you're minor category.
Campus is quite good as we have a garden in the back where students can sit and relax under the trees. The college canteen is also good as well but the only issue is that during lunch time it is all full and we don't have place to sit and have to sit in class if want to eat tiffin. The library is good and has a good selection of books with sofas to sit on and table chairs to study.
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
