- I adore my professors. They are really helpful and anytime approachable.
- The mess food definitely, especially Sunday menue. They also prepare special food for students who fast during festivals.
Dislikes
- The location of the campus is in a remote area, in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
- The college has a decent infrastructure, which could have been better.
Remarks :
Since we were the 3rd batch, admissions were lenient back then. I got admission solely on my 12th scores. Since it's a growing college, they are not very strict with admissions. I chose this college because I found the fees affordable as compared to other colleges and also because it was not very far from my hometown.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure and the faculty is quite good. We have 10 semesters, 6 subjects in each semester. Our faculties are highly qualified and dedicated. We have 50 marks internals and rest 50 end term exams. We also have clinical papers from 4th year.
Internships Opportunities :
I have interned at various law firms like Jyotis Sagar Associates, Vidhii Partners, Steel Authority of India Limited, Calcutta High Court, etc. Mostly in corporates we are given research based work, and sometimes drafting.
Placement Experience :
Our students have interned at various tier 1 law firms like Khaitan & co., JSA, Dua and associates, HSA, Fox & Mandal, etc. There is a Recruitment Coordination Committee which is a student driven committee working with the placement authority to work on the placements. We are only the 3rd batch. Few of our seniors are placed at reputed law firms like Dentons Link Legal, Aquilaw, etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees is 80,000 per semester. Hostel fee for double occupancy is 74,200. I got a scholarship of 1,60,000 based on my 12th scores. We paid a caution money of 15,000. And in every alternative semester we may 3000 as insurance money.
Campus Life :
BGU is best for its campus life. Our campus remains vibrant throughout the year. We mostly celebrate all the festivals in the campus. Our Sports fest named ATOS an cultural fest SPECTRA is mostly held between February to March. We have a lot of clubs and societies like Pro Bono club, moot court society, Legal aid society, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college has double and triple occupancy. Hostel fee is 70,200 per semester for triple occupancy. And, 74,200 per semester for double occupancy. The food at mess is amazing and must better than most of the colleges. They serve 4 times food. The food quality is good, hygienic and tasty.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
