The admission process in this college was based on JEE Main results and since I am an outside delhi general student, I didnt have any edge back then despite being a good ranker. The admission process was smooth and there was no GD/PI, it was all the formalities only. The good aspects of this college - 1.) It has a lot of diversity and its campus is quite big despite being present in the center of dwarka. 2.) It offers multiple courses at a single place. 3.) The college is quite happening with a lot of events every year and its annual fest is the biggest in Delhi. Cons - 1.) The average package of placement has been reducing ever since I came here. 2.) Academics are fine, but a more practical and real world based syllabus is quite essential.
The academics are really good in here, they have quite a learned faculty and most of them are quite dedicated for their work. There is no 75% attendance barrier so there is more flexibility. The exams are held in 2 phases where the first phase is internal which are held twice (theory) and once (practical) a semester followed by external each once during the end of semester. The level of all exams are pretty easy and its very difficult to actually fail in these exams. All in all, its quite a decent college in terms of academics and teaching.
In my duration of college, I have not opted for any internship from the college. I managed to work in 2 bbig companies outside the domain of college and it was meant to be kept confidential so I cant disclose much details about that.
The placement and job opportunities is something this college has to work upon. Partly due to a high recession and partly due to college the placement is not upto the mark. On an average in the past years, the college was able to maintain only 50% placement of students with big companies visiting like samsung, ZS associates, cvent, Infosys, Yamaha and so on but hiring a few students only. The highest package of last year was of 2500000 and the average was somewhere around 600000 only. My plans as of now includes getting a job first and working in the industry for a few years.
Well, in my 1st year I paid 79000 as my entire college fees which included 6000 as security fees which was then followed by 73000 per year for the next 3 years. This is the major breakup of fees when I joined the university in 2021. Ever since, there has been a constant increase in fees and I believe it is somewhere in the range 1,20,000 - 1,30,000 now and I am not aware of the exact breakup.
IPU being the main campus holds a responsibility to stand out from all its subsidiary colleges and it actually dors by organizing sports week in the month of October/November and its annual fest Anoogonj in the month of February/March. There are multiple clubs for different extracurricular activities like Dancing, singing, drama, photography, coding, development, T&P and many more. There is a vast pool of opportunities in sports. The campus has an ongoing project of indoor badminton, basketball, tennis courts and a gym too. Other than that there is already a single indoor badminton court, 2 basketball courts, 1 football ground and pitch of cricket as well. There is even a society for people who love dogs where students does dog feeding, taking their proper care and these dogs resides in the university only.
The hostel life is pretty good here. The hostel rooms are single occupant from 1st year to final year so there is complete privacy for an individual. The room is actually enough for a single person. The admission in hostel is based on priority of the student's home distance from university. Generally the delhi students are not given hostels. The rooms are limited only. But right in front of the college, there is a society where one can get flat/pg and its affordable as well. The hostel food is great as well as the hostel life too. In boys hostel we do have parties for combined hostels like that of freshers and farewell.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
