- the library it is so spacious and have digital library too in it
- the campus it very spacious and the college canteen has a lot's of variety of food from veg to non veg both and very affordable
- the ground it is massive it has cricket pitch, basketball court, football ground and volley ball court too
- the workshop area is also massive and there are lots of equipment in the workshop like each student have theie own equipment
Dislikes
- the travelling the college is really far from panvel station
- the computer's are really very slow and very laggy
- the workshop teachers are very rude with boy's
Remarks :
The good thing about this college is they are very understanding like in my case i was not having my caste validity certificate and in most of the college your admission will get cancel if you don't have any document but they understanded my situation and give me some time to apply for my caste validity the bad thing about the college is their placement ratio like very less student get placed every year and the average and median package is very low and the main issue is of travelling my admission was done through cet cap round through all india quota as my jee main marks was pretty decent and the 3rd round cutoff for all india quota is 82 this year and for jee mains you have to only study the 11th,12th syllabus in depth
Course Curriculum Overview :
i choosed computer engineering because i like to code alot and my dream is to become full stack developer the qualification of the teachers is really good like almost every teacher have done phd in there subject and the way of there teaching is really very understanding and the faculty of the college is also very helpful and there are 2 sem exam every year each of 100 marks in which 60 marks is for theory and 40 marks is internal marks and in between each sem there are 2 unit exam of 20 marks per subject each unit for the internal marks
Placement Experience :
the placement ratio for BE is very low and the companies visiting the campus is very less the highest package is i guess 7-8lpa and the average is 3-4lpa my plans after getting the degree is becoming a web developer
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My current yearly fees in 57619 as I am from obc category the and if your from open category and you got the college through cap round then you will also get a scholarship of EBC and the fees will be same as 57619 and if your category is sc/st then your yearly fees will ber 6000 around and if you got tfws quota in cap round then your yearly fees will be 15k aorund and this fees include everything like gym,insurance,id card,nss contribution,etc and if your taking admission through institute round then your fees will be 1 lakh 10k aorund and you will not get any scholarship
Campus Life :
The campus life in pillai's is the best among all of the college as pillai hoc have a big fest called as euforia and it is conducted every year in between march and april and every year there are lots of international and national trip.The pillai hoc library is the best among any college like almost a full floor is of library and you will find any book you want in the library the total worth of all the books are almost 1cr like on the entrance of the library it is clearly mentioned the prices of all the book and every year there is sports event called phcl which is a intercollege sports tournament in which cricket football basketball, etc are sports played but it is allowed for 1st year student and as I am also a 1st year student i am not alllowed to take part in any clubs also

It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced.
