Dislikes
- The one thing will be the amount of pressure they put on students
- Sometimes the faculties gives us some task and only gives a short period for doing such tasks which might be very bigger
Remarks :
I choose Marian college for it's strong academic reputation, experienced faculty and beautiful campus.The admission procedure included a small interview procedure but ultimately the marks of the qualifying exam( Board Exam ) is considered.
Course Curriculum Overview :
THE BBA course curriculum at Marian college is well structured,blending theory with practical applications.The academics create critical thinking capabilities in students and also enable students to do better in their field.The faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable ,Overall the quality of education is commendable.
Internships Opportunities :
I got an opportunity for doing an internship at deloitte for 2 months with a stipend of 55,000 rupees per month. The job role was business associate where my task was to collect and evaluate data comprehend business requirements and procedure.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are quite good the eligibility criteria for the placement is minimum 75% marks in the exams. The highest package offered was Rupees 14 lakhs for mba students which was offered by federal bank and Rupees 6.5 lakhs for UG students also companies EY ,deloitte,south indian bank and a lot more companies come for campus placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Marian college kuttikanam autonomous offers a bba program with a total fee of 74000 rupees for four years, averaging 5000 - 10000 per semester.At admission around rupees 19000 is to be paid.These are fee structure for BBA Aided for self financing the fee increases to a total of 22,4000 rupees .There are some reduction on fee for students from SC,ST background and community quota seats are available for general category
Campus Life :
Life at marian college is awesome there will be some programs on all working days organized by each departments or the college management .There is a fest called Caligo which is conducted by the MBA department of the college and funded by college management which is the biggest fest in the college and other celebrations includes Onam and christmas celebrations which are some of the big celebrations in the campus.There are many clubs and associations in the college like nature club.adventure club.HR and marketing club etc...
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is just above average it's cooked in a very hygienic environment and served with the same hygiene .The food menu is vibrant each day and each time we get different foods a wide variety of breakfast is available same for lunch ,dinner etc...

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
