Dislikes
- While Marian College Kuttikanam has many positives, there are a few things that some might find challenging. The remote hill-station location, while peaceful, can make transportation and access to city amenities a bit difficult. The cold and rainy weather isn’t for everyone either. Although the infrastructure is good, certain areas like recreational spaces or specific labs could use some upgrades. The rules on attendance and hostel timings might feel a bit strict for some students. Social life outside campus is limited, and the placement opportunities could expand to include more international options.
- The wifi has restrictions like we cannot play games etc 😂
Remarks :
I got to know about the college by my cousin brother who studied there and the college is really good. Have wifi 24/7 all-round the campus and the campus is very clean and there is no exam or anything for admission it's with the marks that u got in +12 and i think u need above 65% and the class timing is 8:30am to 1:30pm
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is easy but tough but managemenable and here in this college the course is outcome based and that means there will be no direct questions in the exam and everything will be ask with a theory questions and in the sem exam there will only be 5 questions and each question is worth 12 marks and I'm total there are 6 semester
Internships Opportunities :
Like I said there are many companies like TCS,TATA, federal Bank, Sutherland, Accenture etc and the package about is between 25000 to 30000 and there is internship in every year and now I am currently do my final year internship ship at jawa yezdi showroom in Trivandrum and the criteria for the intership are the company should have above 60 people working in the company that's all
Placement Experience :
There are lots of placements in big company like TCS, TATA, federal Bank, Sutherland, Accenture etc and there criteria and simple u have have above 60% mark in the semester exam and the package is in most companies in the big companys it's about between 25,000 to 30,000 per month and the placement percentage of the students getting is very high like more than 20 students it every placement visit and my plan is go for bank exam af my degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So I am in st category so my fees will be less than other so like fees is per semester and it's approximately 8000 for other and for me it's 4000 because I am in ST CATEGORY and my hostel fee is per year and it's 24,000 and there is mess fee per month which is about 4950 per month so that's the overall cost
Campus Life :
Campus Life is awesome and there is fest and celebration for every month which as an event like for example Oman, christmas, Pongal etc and there is flash mob dance everyday etc there no boring days in the college and the library is very large and spacious and every book is available I think????. And the library is fitted with technology that every library should have like self scaning for taking a book free and very fast wifi discussion rooms etc. And there lots of sports activities and now main active sports are kickboxing, cricket, football, badminton and there 30+ very active clubs in the my college etc
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess food is not good. It is okey but there are some problems like food poison is very common in our hostel and there are no fans or ac because kuttikkanam is hilltop place and it cold in most common days but now during summer some time it's very hot other than the the hostel is very good have very fast wifi etc

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
