Remarks :
No written test or exam needed. Just a personal interview with the Head of Department and Principal. The reason i chose this college was because it assisted me in my holistic development as a student. The skills i posses and the knowledge i gain at college is the reasons why i chose Marian. Cons: Hostellers are not allowed to leave hostel after 530 which makes them miss the evening sunsets at kuttikanam. Admission Process: After verifying the required documents at the admission cell, you will have a PI with the Head of Department for your selected course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reasons i chose BBA was because i had the skills needed that could help me grow my career in the business /marketing/ sales industry. All faculty members are highly qualified and have great teaching efficiency. Teaching methods are simple and easy to understand, Teachers are approachable and clear doubts at any time. Term exams are held at the end of the semester, difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, internship is mandatory as a part of our academics. From 2nd year onwards each student has to undergo a 1 month internship in a company of their choice as well as a role provided by the college. Companies and location can be selected by the students
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placements- No supplementary exams and must have 60% minimum mark in each semester. EY, Delloite, TCS, Accenture, Allianz, GICE- highest package: 6.5LPA from Deloitte for CA and ACCA Bcom students only. Avg package- 2.75LPA. around 60% of students have been placed from BBA. Exact number is yet to be released. My plans after getting the degree is to work in a company for 1-2 years and pursue my MBA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For merit list students the fees is 20,000 yearly and for management list students its around 35,000. Exam registration fee of around 500-600. Students with above 85% in grade 12 are eligible for merit list and students who have secured below 85% are put into management list. Lab fees- 160, Administrative and application fee- 220, this fee is applicable only at the time of registering for examinations. Various scholarships are available for students who scored 75% and above in class as well as other scholarship schemes funded by govt. of kerala and some central govt scholarships are applicable at Marian as well. Low income students are eligible for certain scholarships provided by the college.
Campus Life :
Campus life is amazing, the biggest fest is held between the months of September- November depending upon the climate. Various other cultural programs are held almost every 3 months along with dance and music events. All types of books and journals are available in the library, Library comes equipped with computers as well. Sports is extremely active here, different types of sports are available along with college team selections which is a great opportunity for students to showcase their extracurricular talents. Marian has 8+ clubs ranging from Finance club all the way to Nature club.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
