Likes
- College has a very nice infrastructure ranging from multiple buildings for multiple degrees and fields of courses, sports complexs and grounds and etc stuff.
- Campus life is one of the best there are 4-5 canteens all over open and closed both with good and very affordable food (honestly). There are chess and ping pong tables and even more games across the campus which you can play and sports as well like basketball and volleyball.
Dislikes
- If i had to dislike something it probably would have been the fees which is almost more than twice of other colleges but at the same time they do provide such facility which fairs it out.
- The campus is good but too big you have to walk a lot to get to your class with no vehicle service inside and not everyone is allowed with vehicle inside.
Remarks :
Personally my reasoning for choosing this college was that its super close to my house, the environment and campus is good i did my junior college from there as well and yes i had GD with my friends and other college students and found out this college is very easy going and convincing and is different from others.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My reasoning for choosing this course was that other felids except commerce i have major knowledge about and can be learned and commerce is a very essential part of any buisness and is the basics. All the faculty here is very over qualified with more than 3-4 degrees and some even phd. We have 2 sems each years and they last upto 15-20 days and their diffculty level is around 80% not very very tough but decently tough.
Internships Opportunities :
No i haven't opted for any internship but my friend got an internship in ICICI and got a good enough stripend, im certainly mot aware how much it was but he was further offered for job after his internship and got places as a high ranked job there with a good package
Placement Experience :
One of the best placements offers do come here you just should know how to approach and tackle them, there are big big companies even like samsung coming in for every course degree. You can gain very good reputation and experience through them.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees us around 1,25,000 per year and that includes everything that is admission fees registration insurance etc Somaiya had its own scholarship program which can give upto 90% of scholarship
Campus Life :
Honestly, one of the best campus lifes in mumbai you can get. Very big campus ranging in acres and at a very convenient spot, they have a whole railway station dedicated to the college, always some sort of small or big event happening and multiple colleges inside huge crowd and very lively with no toxicity. Best college if youre in sports as there are multiple grounds with proper pitch snd equipment and just so much more. We have a club which is of BAF department knows as kaizen club and we also have a students club as Cultural forum which hosts all the events.

An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
