Reality of SuryaDutta College
Remarks :
This college was first in Pune to have the cyber security course. That’s why I had to choose this college. Also there is no interview or written test or discussion for admission. You can get direct admission for the course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum, academics, are decided by SPPU, but talking about the faculties. It is very poor. College does not provide special faculties who have specialities in cyber security. At the end, the student have to dedicate themselves to focus on academics, they can’t rely on faculties.
Internships Opportunities :
College did not provide any internship opportunities from their end, so I had to manage from outside When I asked college for internship opportunities, they just kept delaying the things. they do not take any responsibility.
Placement Experience :
The college. Take Responsibility for placement of the students or does not provide any internship. They clearly say that we cannot provide you with internship and placements, and they also falls from his while taking the admission.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is 90000 per year whereas if you have a good score in 12th you can get upto 30% scholarship.About the facilities provided it is very poor . Since this year it has become. A 4 year degree . For four degree the fees might be 120000 per year
Campus Life :
College conducts many fest and get together like Garba and other events take place in college. There is no club or infrastructure. You can play volleyball on the ground, which is very small. Dedicated grounds are cannot be seen. Also there is a huge problem for vehicle parking around the college. The college does not take that responsibility.
Hostel Facilities :
College does not have any hostels, but you can find PG’s and rooms near the campus that can cost around 20,000 a month. Talking about the college canteen, it is not so good. There are no good food places near the college. They are very unhygienic and dirty.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

Placement Experience :
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
