No, there was no entrance , discussion round there , they just gave us admission on merit based and assigned the college on first come first serve basis, i chose this college because i red the review on college duniya website that facilitates are very good and environment is also nice here.
I was a arts student in my 12th class but i started gaining intrest in computer in 11th class so I thought i will do bca but after 12th i got to know about this course from my friend he told me this is same as bca and has less fee, so i chose this. Qualification is pretty simple you just have to pass the 12th class with atleast 60% marks to get the college Difficulty level wasn't much as it is same as bca syllabus, but if you have skipped the maths in 11th 12th then passing 1st sem will be very hard for some people, they can get failed in maths
No, i didn't opted for any placement, they didn't help us to find any placement and it wasn't very important to do a internship to get the degree, i tried on internshala to get something related to me but i didn't find something
Yes, there was not a single company came for placements here and they asked us to go into job fest to get jobs but those jobs were C category like calling jobs then, i by myself started finding jobs on internshala and then i got the call from naukri for Android developer job role .
They were charging around 30,000 every year, even it was lockdown the fee was same but in 1st year they charged 10,000 more as building security deposit which was refundable and for sc st fee were same too.
There was a college fest called amogh, happened in dec and there was also a university fest which celebrated 3 days You can get all types of book in library, like for coding, business , stories , encyclopaedia etc which you can use for free There was not much extra activities there only arm wrestling and singing I'm not aware of any kind of website here, i guess there was no website There was also a canteen in college where we use to have samosa , pakoda tea juice etc, it was fun too
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
