- The best thing about our college is the curriculum and faculty. The professors are so supportive and experts of their respective fields.
- They not only are our teachers but also friends as we can run to them any time we got some query.
Dislikes
- The campus life is completely non existent.
- Also the university have a very complicated process for everything including fees and related queries. We have to run to the main campus for every problem.
Remarks :
Mainly the course curriculum was the reason I chose to pursue this course. I got gargi college - ba eco hons in Delhi University but chose DSEU because I thought it would be much better as a career option also my specialisation was finance here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The best thing about our college is the curriculum. The course is designed in such a way that most of the biggest colleges here can't even compete. They have included so much care and attention in developing the course, it would have been perfect if they could provide the practical exposure too.
Internships Opportunities :
I have given my equity derivative exam and currently looking for a job in this specific field. I haven't done any internships so far but looking for one desperately as this summer I am determined to find that initial internship
Placement Experience :
If i talk about last year batch, they got placed in really good firms specific to their domain i.e., finance and securities market. Companies like - HDB financial services, IIFL securities, EPIC, tradeshala, were few of the top recruiters.
Campus Life :
The campus life thing doesn't exist here. You would feel really bad after enrolling here as the campus is too small and most of the fun activities are restricted to a multi purpose hall. You can't even sit in garden and roam around if you got no classes.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
