I was not ready to perceive B-tech for further studies after 12th. But surprisingly I scored so good in JEE and MHT-CET that I became able to afford a B-tech degree from a government college. Also this college is close to my hometown so it is easy for me to access and also I get CSE department in cap rounds which was my first priority. So, these are the factors that make me to choose this college. And I did not had to face any interview or test for the admission. All you need is a remarkable score in JEE or MHT-CET or both. I had prepared for these exam on my own and the cutoffs raises year by year.
As I mentioned above, I literally had a lot of interest in technical and futuristic fields like computer science and hence I choose CSE branch which is more detailed in B-tech course and is more beneficial for future opportunities. Hence I choose this course. The faculty's qualification is great. Not that great but ok ok. But the quality of teaching is really great except some one or two teachers. As I experienced the exams are conducted timely but the course starts lately which then leads to course incompleteness. And the difficulty level is decent afterall, it all depends upon you, how you study and take it seriously.
I haven't opted for any intership but the college provides intership by CIIIT. You can have many roles there. That intership specially beneficial for electrical and mechanical department students for future progress.
The college do provides placements by a lot of companies. As I know some recruiters visited us like TCS and others. The highest package was 7.5 lakhs and average was 3.5 lakhs. About 60 to 75 students from 100 gets placements.
At time of addmission, I had paid nearly rs 12000 only as addmission fees(as I came from NT category) and the fee structure changes a little bit for every type of reservation where, the ST and SC category gets maximum discount in fees. But you have to pay exam fees seperately if it is not included in the fees structure. I just have paid exam fees of rs 2672 for 3rd semester. Let me give a detailed analysis: *Note: These details are most likely for NT category holders So, I paid rs 8800 admission fees for 2nd year of college (CSE Department). DEVELOPMENT FEES : rs5000 OTHER COLLEGE FEES : rs 3500 UNIVERSITY FEES : rs 300 TOTAL AMOUNT: rs 8800 So this was the typical fee structure for 2nd year and it vary by time/category/branch/semester.
Campus is so interesting and fascinating. There are a lot of clubs for development of each branch and other social clubs too. The one of the major and the most exciting event conducted is the TECHNO UTSAV. It is conducted in April maybe. I'm not sure about it because it all depends upon the management. So, the management decides when to conduct. The college has its own library so you can get a lot of books there. The departmental classes are well structured. But the not departmental classes lacks some facilities but that's ok. There are many sports available in the college but the most popular is cricket.
I did not apply for the hostel so I don't have enough information about it. But when you got admitted to college you can get a form to be filled to get hostel. The selection process is similar to cap rounds on the basis of percentage you scored. It includes three rounds. You can relate it to cap rounds.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
