Likes
- The college has a really good culture of research based study and focusing on concept based application.
- Though not comparable to IIT s but the institution has farely developed sports facilities.
Dislikes
- The college is in a remote area hence it becomes difficult to socialize .
- Sometimes the lab schedule becomes too hectic for regular routine.
Remarks :
I wanted to work for ISRO hence decided to join this college. Other factors were my interest in structure and design and the overall aerospace Branch. One needs to qualify jee advanced exam and have 75% marks in 12th exam to be eligible for the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology councelling which takes place on their website iist.ac.in
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is based on semester pattern where in first semester the subjects will be 1. thermodynamics 2.Calculus 3.Physics 4.Chemistry 5.Commuinication Skills 6.C++ 7.Auto Cad 8.Inventor Professional These are the subjects according to New nsp policy. There are two exams mid-term (25-35) marks end sem (40 marks ) and continuous internal assessment
Internships Opportunities :
There are many opportunities available for internship inside and outside the institute.One can apply for internship under the professors in various labs or in our ground station SSpace. Also the major intersnship attraction is the third year internship opportunity at ISRO Centres.
Placement Experience :
As the institution has a direct placement bond in isro 80% placement comes from ISRO. This the average package is not much but is roughly around 11 lpa. Other than ISRO companies like CDac,Infosys,Airbus,Boeing,etc also come from placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The entire fee for one year is 162000 which has to be paid in two halves. Various scholarships are also available On basis of income those who have below one lakh will get full tuition fee refund while those having between 1-5 lakh will get 66% refund. Also sc and st students have complete fee waiver irrespective of income. NSP scholarship are also available.
Campus Life :
There are two fest 1. Conscientia Conscientia is the technical and astronomical fest of iist held in the month of October and it one of the biggest tech fest on southern India 2.Dhanak It is the cultural fest of iist held in the even semester and is one of the biggest cultural fest in kerala.
Hostel Facilities :
The institution is completely residential hence one needs to reside in the college hostel. The hostel room have a bed , cupboard, study table , chair and side table. Mattresses are needed to be bought by the students. The food quality is quite average and mostly edible.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
