- The campus is Lush Green and Beautiful. The Infrastructure is unique and is using harvested rain water. We have 2 Water treatment plants for rain water treatment.
- The professors are well qualified and their teaching method is really good.
Dislikes
- The male to female ratio is very less i.e. 7:1.
- The mess food is hygienic but all curry tastes same and you will get bored after a month.
Remarks :
The admission is on the basis of your Jee Advance score. There is a separate counselling conducted by iist on the basis of Jee Advance score. For my year Jee advance was a bit tough and cut off was 20%. For 2024 it is around 37%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is a bit on tougher side. The faculties are well qualified and their teaching methods are really good. In terms of Academics IIST is good. You can apply your learning in Lab sessions. The exams are tough and held timely.
Internships Opportunities :
Most of the people get the internship at different centers of ISRO as it is easily reachable to us. But there is no stipend provided for ISRO internship. There are more companies like Accenture(offers 50K per month) and Texas Instruments(offers 60k per month).
Placement Experience :
There are companies like Skyroot Aerospace, Bellatrix Aerospace, Agnikul cosmos, Aadhya Aerospace, Texas Instruments, Accneture, Infosys, Mercedes Benz, Dhruva Aerospace, CDAC, ISRO, DRDO, Mathworks, Intel, Tata, Mahindra etc. come for campus placement. But most of the people are absorbed by ISRO. Almost 90% got placed and some of them go for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Admission fee is 500. Campus development fee is 1000. Tuition fee is 62500. Library fee is 2000. Medical and insurance fee is 4000. Hostel Establishment charges is 10000. Hostel Rent is 6000. Electricity and water charges is 1500. Caution money is 5000. If you are OBC/EWS and annual income is less than 5 LPA the Tuition fee is 20850 and if annual income is less than 1 LPA then Tuition fee is Nil. If you are SC/ST and annual income is less than 8 LPA then Tuition fee is Nil. If you are not in any general category and having greater than 9 gpa then you will get a scholarship of 50% on Tuition fee.
Campus Life :
The campus is Lush Green and beautiful. It is a fully residential campus. We have a technical fest - Conscientia held in the month of October and a cultural fest - Dhanak held in the month of March. There are almost 125000 books and 5000 e-Journals in the Library. The classrooms are Air conditioned and having Projector. We have 4 Badminton, 1 Football, 1 Basketball, 1 Volleyball court inside the campus and 1 ground outside the campus used for playing cricket and football. There were a lot of Clubs like AI Club, Aero Club, Robo Club, Drama club, Music club, Dance club, Debate Club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
It is a fully residential campus and no one is allowed to live outside. The room is provided with a bed, a bedside table, a study table with drawers, a chair, a rack, an almirah etc. The hostel fee is 6000 per year and a hostel establishment fee of 10000.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
