The thing that attracted me the most was the name and fame of the college It is the only college in delhi University providing B.Tech Also renounded colleges such as DTU AND NSUT were also part of faculty of technology few years back
Overall academics are good as teachers are well qualified and have various research paper for their domain The teaching meathod if friendly and in english language The term examination was in two phase one was mid term and end term Difficulty level for mid term was high and for end term it was moderate
As I told it is a new college So the placement drive is under construction and with the previous records of this college we hope to get good placement so we can say it is value for money And asking me I have done internship as a software testing engineer But this was off campus
This is a new college started in 2023 so there is no placement data however faculty of technology exists from a long time now DCE( Delhi college of engineering) now known as DTU and NSUT were also part of faculty of technology but due to the new guidelines these were made different universities
There are no hostel facility yet The fees for first year is 216000 for second year it is 224000 and keeps on increasing However there is concession for ews, sc and st varying from 50 percent to 90 percent but since there are no hostel facility so either you have to stay in flat or a pg that is quiet expensive in this area of delhi as you have to pay the rent, food and even for the transportation which is majorly rikshaws. The fees of my batchmates if around 112000 which are from special category Also there is upto 100 percent concession for the PWD(person with disability) I know various students in my batch with hundred percent concession The fees is collected in two installments first one of one lack and other of remaining We are given appropriate time to submit the fee and if by any reason we are late to submit the fee we are given extension and no serious action is taken by the management Overall fee is bit high but worth of money As compared to the facilities provided by the du

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
