Expectations vs reality

- The bleachers and the stone benches are were we chill.
- The infrastructure is very nice for a 150 year old institution.
Dislikes
- Facutly, they are very rude to you and treat us like we study for free.(first year economics faculty).
- The management is also very rude and treat us no different . The service the provide for us is okay and the behaviour is just unacceptable.
Remarks :
There is no entrance exam of such but some courses require it but then only after registration. Family members were alumni of the college therefore the college was a choice. The cut off is now at 80 percent. The admission is mainly merit based. With a day or two of preparation you can easily bag the admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as i like economics as a subject. The qualifications of the faculty is top notch but their teaching method is not so great but this is not the case for most of them. Industrial relations department is great. The terms exams are usually after four months into a semester and are pretty tough.
Placement Experience :
Placements we got were average and nothing big and is no where near the hype. The BA student have very less opportunity in placement here. Highest package was 4Lpa. The chance of getting the job is moderate and depends on your skill level.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Over a year for the course the fees paid is around 70000-75000. There will be so many scholarships provided throughout the year ,all three years of college. There will be extra compulsory credit courses for which tou will have to pay around 4000. The scholarship brochures are send through class groups. And can be claimed. Fees is bit less for those who choose Kannada.
Campus Life :
There are two fests called Pratibha and visages which is very happening and fun. The month in which it is conducted may vary due to weather. The library is top notch and is in fact one of the best in Bangalore. It is accessible online to. The class rooms are pretty basic but it has everything a student needs. There are many social groups nearly to 100. Maybe more. Which is also run my them all off the groups.
Hostel Facilities :
There’s apartments that can be rented nearby to the college which are pretty affordable to move in with friends. I have not chose the hostel as the curfew was early. The pgs are bad and don’t fall for the bait.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
