- The greatest con is that we don’t have a permanent campus yet but the temporary campus is good enough. The thing I love about my college is the hostels. They are really very good.
- Hostel life is good. You’ll enjoy your time here just find the right set of people.
Dislikes
- The college doesn’t have its permanent campus. Less internship opportunities.
- Strict attendance system. So you get less time to do other things
Remarks :
The placements and the course curriculum of this college attracted me. The course curriculum is modern and meets the industry requirements. Though you are not taught things in detail but still they are relevant to some extent and are not outdated. The college provides enough placement opportunities too.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculties are from IITs and highly qualified in their field. You can reach out to them for any help/knowledge that you need. I believe the academics are upto par. The course curriculum is also relevant and not outdated.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven’t opted for any internships yet as currently I’m in my third semester but I would be applying for them very soon. You can grab internships based on your tech stack. For this there are a lot of seniors to help you. You don’t need to worry about this. You can get guidance about anything here.
Placement Experience :
Due to the ongoing recession the placements have been reduced but earlier according to the stats provided by the college they were good. Placements also depend on your skill set. You’ll get enough opportunities to showcase your skills. It all depends on you at the end.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly tution fee is 322000 which includes everything from mess, hostel, tuition and all other expenses. You don’t need to pay anything apart from this to the institution. The fee is same for all the categories. There are different state and central government scholarships available. The institute will guide you through this too. You can apply for these scholarships through NSP.
Campus Life :
There restricted social life as the batch size is small and college intake is less. You wouldn’t find much things around the college to do, so you are restricted to the hostel. If you have the right set of friends then it wouldn’t matter much otherwise it could be a problem
Hostel Facilities :
The mess food is not good at all. It also depends from student to student but according to me it is not good. The hostels are great and even better than most of the government institutions. You don’t need to worry about hostels but mess is an issue.

The Real BIT Sindri Experience
Placement Experience :
Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
Average University in Jamshedpur in low fee
Placement Experience :
You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College
Placement Experience :
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
