Remarks :
This college has hundred percent placement every year, which attracts many of the cadets too join merchant Navy. We are prepared in such a manner that we will score good in academics as well as in sports
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the facilities here are ex merchant navy officers. Especially chief engineers ,captains and Chief officers. Teaching facility is excellent in Tolani maritime institute. All are high paid faculties with more than 15 years experience of teaching.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies such as NYK Chevron B. P Williamson stenna Tom tankers , Osm thome like companies visit here evry Year for placement They give a decent amount of stipund, for example, fifty thousand per month for the internship for the course of six months Medicals interviews psychometric test writing are to be completed before you join a ship

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for b tech marine engineering course is approximately twenty four lakhs for 4 years For BSc, nautical science fee structure is 18 lakhs for 3 years. This college is great for being part of Merchant Navy as all the faculties, here are also x merchant navy officers.
Campus Life :
Despite being in merchant navy, the campus in social life is good enough for a student to survive here. There is no any restriction for use of social media. Every semester there are events like tech events, sports events, which encourages the students
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel mess food is good enough. As compared to other hostels, they provide quality food. Hostel is compulsory for all the students and we cannot rent a room or p. G. There are strict rules to be abide by all the cadets under the surveillance of the warden

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods.
