I've heard good reviews of this college and as my rank in ComedK lies near to the cutoff for this college. I've joined this college. I've prepared for the exams on my own with the help of few study materials which allowed me to practice more about it.
I've chosen this course as it aligns closely to my interests in life. Completing this course provides me with enough knowledge to move forward in life in my area of interest where I'll be happy to work. The faculties are good and pretty qualified.
I've paid around the same amount every year with an extra additional fee of 2000/- for books and other materials. There are no additional charges other than these. Even my batchmates have paid same fee who have joined the college through ComedK. It differs for others. Few of my friends have joined the college through CET which a Karnataka board exam for UG. They pay around 100000/- per year plus the books fee. All this covers the amount which a student had to pay per year and there'll be an extra amount to register for the exam in every semester.
Life at JSS is good. We'll have an annual fest called the Verve which is conducted in the month of June. There are so many books and journals out there, which provide with more information about the happenings at college. There are so many student clubs like dance, music, drama, entrepreneurial, etc.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
