I chose got into b.com program and one of the reasons Iam glad that I got into this college is the faculty. The faculty in Zakir husain delhi college is great atleast for b.com we got gold medalists in commerce and teachers with foreign teaching experience too. The teaching method is very subjective according to different teachers. They teach in a very understanding way. Exams are conducted every semester and each semester is of approx 6 months. Exam's difficult is moderate if you study timely and accordingly you won't have any problem.
I haven't done any internship but the placement cell offers many internship drives throughout the year specially during summer break. One of the recent internship drive was offered by Favcy for different roles.

The campus life totally depends on you depending upon your personality. Still we talked about college campus, it promotes socialising and collaborations. Many societies conducted their annual fests in different months but our college's annual fest happens in March. The library is great for academic books. You can find every history jouranal , every document very easily. The library is also great for literature reders. There are tons of books to read and every book is classified accordingly. As for sports & extracurricular activities , there are separate clubs for different sports and the selected teams are sent for competitions.
Zakir Husain Delhi College doesn't offer hostel services sadly, but the nearest city Laxmi nagar is popular for hostles. Rent starts from 5000 to the limit you can afford. You can other cities too as per your studies.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
