I chose this college because of the course and the university. I've pursued psychology hons therefore I was left with very few colleges in Delhi University as there are only 3 colleges which provides psycho hons for boys and Zakir Hussain is one of the best for psycho hons in whole india and also I preferred DU over bhu as the kind of exposure we'll be getting in du is unreal and top notch which not only help us in academic but also plays a vital role in character building.
I love the faculty of my college as it is one of the best department in my college. The curriculum is up to the point no extra or no less information is provided. I love the professors they are so supportive and passionate about teaching. All my professors have the doctorate degree. They have mastered in the field of psychology.
Our college do provides intership facilities. In second year we've to choose between sec( skill enhancement courses) and internship, so the students applying for internship gets to be a intern of different psychological centre.
I don't have much idea about the placement as the placement is not much a part of my plan I would like to appear for higher education. Although our college though offer placement for other courses like bcom hons.
I'll be paying a wholesome amount of ?16380 as my tution fees and we have to pay some additional charges such as examination fees. The registration fees for du was ?500 and the Admission fees was ?16380 . There are various scholarships provided by government which help financially I'll people to pay their fees. The overall fees of 4 year would be 64000

There is no hostel facility available in zakir hussain like the colleges of Delhi University do. So there's a little inconvenience for the students coming from outside as there are no good pg's in the proximity of the college.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
