It is the best Engineering college in India. For getting admitted here I had to clear 2 exams , namely the JEE mains and JEE Advanced. The minimum percentage required in 12th standard is 75 and admissions are rank based.
The course curriculum is highly real life problem solving oriented and focuses on creating good quality engineers as the nation expects from the institute being the best institute of the nation. Faculty are good and supportive
I have not opted any internship yet but there are many opportunities running around not only through placement cell but also externally. Since I have been working with Techfest and Mood Indigo, I haven't opted any internship yet
Great opportunities for placements and internships as it is the best institute in the nation. Not necessary that you go towards your course. You can also explore other courses and fields as well. So it's a really supportive system
The tution fee per semester is around 120000 and has been increasing every year. There are many government and bank scholarships available. Also many private scholarships can be availed. Bank scholarships are based on merit.
Large campus of 550 acres with the best college life. Good infrastructure except for hostels, many clubs and activities going on in the campus making the institute come out of the dilema of " study oriented kids"
Not all hostels are spacious enough. Some are really good but some need to be reconstructed. Government messes and some private messes are good but other private messes are really bad. Hostel rooms are compulsory for all and everyone is alloted one every year
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old.
