- I love My College whole infrastructure especially Library and auditorium . And seminar rooms also.
- In faculty i like my paper teachers they are all supportive.
Dislikes
- I dislike that we don't have hostel in college only this rest infrastructure is good
- In Faculty 1-2 teachers I don't like due to there non cooperative behaviour sometimes otherwise all good
Remarks :
The factors was i am 2022 batch. We have CUET Entrance exam and I got this college only and i freezed it in my first allotment because I was having my cousin in this college she told me that college is good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am an upsc aspirant that' why I have chosen this BA Program with two different disciplines. I have Geography and History as my disciplines. Faculty of spm college is overall good I'll give them 4 out of 5. They are punctual and and good at teaching some teachers are not that supportive but some are cooperatives and supportives like parents . Term exams are always on it's time with schedule and Difficulty level is also good and manageable and whole exams comes from syllabus itself. Teacher helps in preparation by giving important questions and important topics which helps us in scoring good mark.
Internships Opportunities :
No i didn't opted for any internship because I never tried but some of my friend opted and done internships in ICICI bank , bajaj ,travtour etc. minimum stipend they offers is from 5000 and more according to role and responsibilities
Placement Experience :
We have Placement Cell and It offers many internships and Jobs time to time. Internship for undergraduate as WFH , Hybrid Mode, Location based and many more. Also our college organises placement drives in which companies comes and takes interviews of interested candidates
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When I took addmission in 2022 my annual fee was 8175 for 1st year, in 2nd year it was same 8175 and in this 3rd year i paid 8635. Which is very affordable for all in this facilities. SPM College is commerce and arts based college, but we have two science courses BSC in maths and computer science. Fee for BA program with non practical courses is under 8500 and for BA Program with practical papers is under 9300. And for BA Hons it is under 8700 and BCom Prog and BCom hons it's in under 10500. In SPM , the computer science hons having high fee among all which was 39455 for this 2024-25 session. Also SPM Have B.EL.Ed of 18845 and spm is the only college in du which provides b.ed course and itep course of 18100 and 27490 respectively. Additionally clg offers MA in hindi and political science in just under 2500. Campus Life :
In our College, we have Srijan Annual Fest in March and Annual Diwali Fest(Jhilmil)at time of Diwali and annual literature fest ( shabadpakhi) in month of February. We have a 3 floor Library with huge number of books, newspaper, journals, novels and magazines. In our College we have NSS , NCC , Sports , Eco Club , Art society, Gym Facilities, Ruchika - Vocational Training centre and Udgam - Incubation Centre. Placement Cell , Northeast Cell etc.
Hostel Facilities :
We don't have Hostel in our college..we have canteen in our college with affordable food and hygienic food . Nescafe Shop . There is many pg and flats nearby college in walking distance. With rent of 10000 with a quality food.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
