The computer science department might have the best faculty as compared to other colleges in nashik. I've seen many students transferring from other colleges chosing kkwagh over other colleges. The placement cell is kind of useless though, rarely any company visits and most of the companies are looking for some other roles which isn't even related to the degree mostly customer service jobs. But i think the chances of getting placed might be higher than other colleges in nashik For the admission criteria, Students who scored better in previous course and who have given CETs are preferred over others
The college is serious when it comes to teaching standards The faculty is experienced and are good at teaching (just try to behave good with them, it will help you a lot in your journey). Sometimes enough teachers are not availabe for all the subjects so either a teacher will cover more than one subject(rarely) or the classes will start late untill they find a new teacher. Almost always the syllabus is completed before the exams and the exams are never delayed
There is no such thing as internships provided by the college at least in the bachelors degree. If you want to land any internships then you have to apply for it externally. There is a small program called Earn & Learn for provide some amount of money based on working hours in which you have to do small tasks in the college.
Placement is almost non-existent. They will only conduct stupid seminars like interview skills and resume writing but will not put any effort in inviting companies. There is only one professor (can't mention name) who manages the whole placement cell for computer science department. Please note that review is specifically for computer science department only
For MSc Computer Science Without scholarship fees - 54000 Scholarship for categories like OBC and ST is only 4000 (Note that scholarship is not available for the students coming from EBC category) For BSc Computer Science Early fee might be around 36000 without quota
There are various days celebrated like traditional day in the later half of the academic year. Around the same time gathering program occurs featuring different types of activities like dance, singing and many more. But compared to other colleges like MET and Sandip Foundation, the fests in this college aren't that great. In sports, competition at Inter-College and Inter-Department level in various sports are conducted every year
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
