- The Gymkhana in the college it is really helpful for students to freshen their minds after study.
- Library of the college is very peaceful and it is very helpful to study.
Dislikes
- The canteen of the college is very expensive.
- College's infrastructure is very poor yet it is improving.
Remarks :
No examination is required for Bcom. For in-house students cut-off for Bcom is 35%. And for other students it must be around 60%. The management of college is co-operative with the attendance for the students who are pursuing professional courses like CA, CS, etc. or doing any internships.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Sydenham college has adopted New Education Policy, 2020 (NEP 2020). This course is my subsidiary course as I'm pursuing a professional course, Chartered Accountancy. The termly exams are moderate in difficulty level and are average of around 30 to 45 marks each paper and remaining marks are given by internal examinations and assignments and projects.
Placement Experience :
Placement is top quality by Sydenham college. It has a different committee named as Placement Cell. Many companies like KPMG, Deloitte, SBI, Zee studios etc. The placement committee involves all the TY students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As it is a government college it provided very concessional fees for the course of basic commerce. Bachelors in commerce is comparatively expensive in other colleges compared to Sydenham. It's yearly fees is 4632 for general category students and 2362 for reserved category students.
Campus Life :
It doesn't have a great campus. It only includes a 3 floor building in which the third floor is alloted to SIMSREE. Other 2 floors and the ground floor is used by Sydenham college. The building includes canteen and an auditorium in itself. And has a Gymkhana beside the building.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
